What is the Work Assistance Tuition Waiver and how do I apply?

The Work Assistance Tuition Waiver is designed to assist current undergraduate students that work 25+ hours per week during the academic year. The intent of the tuition waiver is to help these students with their finances so that they are able to work fewer hours during the semester and focus more time and energy on their studies. (Students that receive the tuition waiver are not required to continue to work 25+ hours a week during the following semester).

This Tuition Waiver is for current undergraduate students who are working 25 or more hours per week. The application for Work Assistance for 2016-2017 is currently closed. Students can apply for Spring 2017 Work Assistance starting in the Fall through the Centralized Academic Scholarship Hub (CASH) found at

After receiving the tuition waiver, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Enroll and successfully complete at least 15 hours each semester
  • Achieve at least a 2.0 GPA in these classes for each the fall and spring semesters
